Terms of Service

1.0 Definitions

For the purposes of this Agreement, the following definitions apply:

1.1 "Platform" refers to the Urban Cab website, mobile application, and related services.

1.2 "Service" refers to the transportation facilitation provided by Urban Cab.

1.3 "User" (or "You") refers to any individual or entity accessing the Platform to book a ride.

2.0 Acceptance of Agreement

By creating an account or booking a ride, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using the Platform.

4.0 Financial Terms

4.1 Booking Deposit. A non-refundable deposit equivalent to twenty-five percent (25%) of the estimated total fare is required to secure a reservation.
4.2 Payment of Balance. The remaining seventy-five percent (75%) balance is due and payable prior to the termination of the journey. Failure to settle the balance may result in legal action or blacklisting from the Platform.

5.0 Cancellation & Refund Policy

Critical Notice: Please review this section carefully as it governs your rights regarding refunds.
5.1 User-Initiated Cancellation. In the event the User cancels a confirmed booking for any reason, the 25% Booking Deposit shall be forfeited as a cancellation fee to cover administrative and fleet allocation costs.
5.2 Operator-Initiated Cancellation. In the event Urban Cab is unable to fulfill a confirmed booking due to operational constraints, a full refund (100%) of the deposited amount will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.

6.0 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Urban Cab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

6.1 Force Majeure. We are not liable for service interruptions caused by acts of God, riots, war, terrorist acts, epidemics, labor disputes, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
